A generational investment in the heart of a new community
Details about the project
An unexpected opportunity has come up for Grace Church to purchase a property that we have had our eye on for over 10 years. The owners reached out to inform us that they intend to list the property but would give us first right of refusal to buy the lot. After a great deal of research and negotiations we have come to an agreement with the owners. The Grace Church Council and the Executive Team have unanimously agreed to move forward and we now have a signed contract!

FAQs

Pastor Keith is working with a committee to develop a multi-phase approach for the acquisition and development of the property. In the mean time, here is a simple summary of how we are tackling this topic.
Step 1 - Get the property.
We hope to keep this as simple as possible. There is an opportunity in front of us that is not likely to come around again. We intend to focus our efforts on obtaining the adjacent property.
Step 2 - Discern how the 2030 Vision will come to life on 12 acres (We currently have 8).
While it would be nice to know exactly what we’ll do with the property, that’s not currently feasible without taking dramatic shortcuts to the healthy process of: prayer, brainstorming, planning, communicating, and vetting our plans.
If we acquire the property, we intend to bring a group together in the coming months to do the deep work of creating a unifying plan that brings our vision to life.

Until we have a solid plan on the usage of the property, we will not know what building on the property will cost. Right now our goal is to acquire the property and then prayerfully plan our next steps. A future giving campaign will include full details on planned usage.
