Serve Our City Recap
Where did we serve this time?
On March 1st 2025, we went to five different locations in Clark County and served our community. We supported some local ministry partners, cleaned up a local park and trail, and serve a local school. You can read below about where we served.
Camas Parks and Rec Trail Clean Up
We partnered with the city of Camas to clean up our local trails! This included ivy removal to save trees, trail widening, and holly tree removal.
Discovery High School Greenhouse Construction
We served with Camas' Discovery High School by finishing building the school greenhouse! We got a long way laying blocks!
Open House Ministries Assistance
We partnered with Open House Ministries as they serve families in need in Clark County. Open House is a fantastic program that serves families coming out of homelessness, addiction, and more. We got to assist with donations and their thrift store and bicycle shop.
Dorthy Fox Spruce Up
We partnered with Camas School District's Dorothy Fox Elementary. We reorganized their "rainy day room", touched up the paint on one of their play structures, and spruced up some soccer goals.
Rising Above Daily
We served with Rising Above Daily by doing a variety of chores, from cleaning the pasture, to gathering limbs and wood and starting a wood pile, to grooming the horses, and building a fence!
Pathways Pregnancy Clinic Building Clean Up
Pathways Pregnancy Clinic in downtown Washougal does an amazing job of serving moms and families in need. We partnered with them to help sort inventory and clean up the outside of their building by clearing debris and pressure washing.
What is Serve Our City?
Generous Service is one of the five rhythms of Grace Church. Twice a year we get together as a whole congregation and serve different community partners. We have lots of different options for you, your small group, and your family to serve together.
Nothing is more powerful and effective than when we come together to serve and show the love of Jesus to those around us.
